The Ultrasound Simulator (UltraSim) is used by third year medical students doing their surgical rotation. It gives them and idea of how ultrasound is used in trauma. The UltraSim is a complete system simulator with B-mode, Color and Spectral Doppler modes and an intuitively designed, generic control panel. The simulator provides all of the necessary clinical data as well as a detailed, annotated analysis for each patient case.
